Hybrid designer bridging physical and digital experiences
I design at the intersection of product, interaction, and brand — creating systems that connect objects, interfaces, and the stories around them.

Hybrid Designer

I’m a hybrid designer focused on bridging physical and digital experiences. While studying Interaction Design at ArtCenter, I became increasingly aware of the disconnect between physical products and digital interfaces. That curiosity led me to expand into product design, prototyping, material-driven making, and cross-media storytelling.
Today, I approach design as a connected system rather than isolated outputs. I care about building experiences that feel coherent across form, interaction, and brand — from concept to prototype to final expression.
I’m Munchy Wu, a hybrid designer specializing in bridging physical and digital experiences. While studying Interaction Design at ArtCenter, I noticed a disconnect between physical products and digital interfaces. To better understand this gap, I proactively took core courses in the Product Design department, systematically learning everything from material craftsmanship to 3D modeling.
After working with clients across various industries, I developed a clear set of principles: I don’t accept briefs limited to "UI-only" or "product-only." Every solution should foster a dialogue between physical and digital interactions. Brand DNA serves as the glue for seamless cross-media experiences. My toolkit spans: Physical: Product prototyping, packaging structures, material craftsmanship Digital: End-to-end UI/UX, motion graphics, basic front-end development Bridging: Experience mapping, cross-media storytelling
